Paseo Bulnes is a six block pedestrian artery south of the Alameda, connecting the Palacio de la Moneda and Almagro Park, where you will be able to contemplate the imposing Santísimo Sacramento Church, inspired by the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris.
This promenade was built in the 1930s as part of the monumental Civic District project, designed by the urban planner Karl Brunner. The construction of this neighborhood is to some, the most important urban intervention in the grid matrix that characterizes downtown Santiago.
From here, you can admire the statues of great heroes of Chile´s history: O’Higgins, San Martín, Carrera and Bulnes.
