This stop Hop On Hop Off connects you with the spectacular Santiago Funicular, located in the largest Urban Park in Latin America and the green lung of Santiago, the Parquemet (Metropolitan Park), better known as "Cerro San Cristóbal". Funicular was declared a Historic Monument in 2000, due to the value of its complex cable transport system and its importance as a heritage element of Santiago.
Its entrance through Pío Nono stands out for being a large neoclassical castle designed by the renowned architect Luciano Kulczewski and the cars, recently remodeled, climb about 500 meters up the hillside until they reach the summit of San Cristóbal.
