This experience will take you to the picturesque rural area of Pirque, located just 1 hour from Santiago, where the Concha y Toro Vineyard, one of the most important vineyards in the world and the Origin Market Foundation (except for Sundays, when it is closed), an agroecological meeting place with a range of sustainable products developed by the community.
La Viña Concha y Toro is known for its exquisite and famous wines. You will have the opportunity to tour the gardens of the owner's old summer house and stroll through the 19th century gardens with +25 different grape strains. You will also be able to learn about the growth of the vines and you will have the opportunity to visit their old cellars that include the "Devil locker" and even better, you will learn more about the legend that has made Chilean wine known around the world.
Then you will taste a selection of three varieties of wine and you will receive your gift cup and you can visit their store, where a wide assortment of wines, books and souvenirs are offered.
Before returning to Santiago, we will pass through the Mercado de Origen (except for Sundays, when it is closed), where you can see and buy part of their production of honey, vegetables, flowers and fruits, as well as learn about their crafts.
