Araucano Park

Enjoy a day outdoors at this beautiful park with trails, picnic areas, games and more.

If you enjoy panoramas such as walking with your family, having a delicious picnic lunch or playing sports outdoors, you should visit this green lung of the commune of Las Condes. The famous Parque Araucano consists of 22 hectares to discover, play and rest surrounded by nature.

A little history ...

This place corresponded to the San Luis farm, whose lands were expropriated during the government of President Eduardo Frei Montalva to develop an urban renewal project called.

After the 1973 coup d'état, a private group bought the northern third of the former farm, adjacent to build a real estate project that would later become the Mall Parque Arauco, while the Municipality of Las Condes bought the land where the park is located today.

What to see in Araucano Park?

This park has become an important cultural and entertainment hub, usually hosting activities such as the Las Condes Film Festival. Children also have a great role, since within this same place is the children's entertainment center KidZania and Selva Viva, ideal for children to live unforgettable experiences.

If you are hungry and want to make a stop, right in the center you will find Centro Parque, a place with various restaurants and bars for all tastes.

You can't miss a walk through the rose garden and its beautiful plantations. And at the entrance through Presidente Riesco, visit the sculpture by María Angélica Echavarría “Ofrenda”, which dates back to 2012, in homage to the Mapuche people.

If you want to get to this entertaining park, we recommend taking the Hop On Hop Off Tourist Bus to the Parque Arauco stop.
