No, it is open from Tuesday to Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. On Mondays it is closed for operational maintenance, unless it is a holiday. There may be a variation in schedules depending on the season, so we recommend you check our website and social networks. During winter holidays (between July 1 and 23) the Cable Car is open from Monday to Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
It is accessed through the main entrance of Providencia to the Metropolitan Park, Cerro San Cristóbal. That is, by Avenida Pedro de Valdivia with the intersection of Avenida El Cerro. Upon entering, a few steps to the right, is the initial station, called Oasis.
Yes, especially in the period of health situation that is being faced, the purchase of tickets must be made online reserving your space, and thus avoid contact with cash, to avoid congestion of our visitors.
The maximum wait is 10 minutes. Because there is a quota that is lost, there is no refund of money. Exceptionally, with medical justification duly attached via email, it may be rescheduled for another day.

In each Cable Car station, there is the renowned Delicato cafeteria, with homemade ice creams made in-house and which has been distinguished as one of the best in the country. In addition, there are sandwiches, coffees, muffins, juices, drinks and others.
There are 47 colored booths: Red, blue and green that are operational for the transfer of all visitors.

Yes, you must go to our Oasis Station where we have an elevator available to take you up to the boarding area. In these cases, the person in a wheelchair may be accompanied in the cabin by 2 more visitors. Our staff will be in charge of carrying out the corresponding boarding of the visitor who needs it, always remember to follow the instructions.
Yes, everything will depend on the type of ticket you buy. Disembarkation is mandatory at the terminal stations (Oasis and Cumbre).
No, the service we provide is completely secure. In the event of a power outage, we have an autonomous power plant that allows us to make a safe landing. In addition, each cabin has a loudspeaker call system for emergencies that communicates the visitor with the control tower in cases of restlessness during the tour.
Visitors to the Cable Car may enter the stations and inside the cabins with their pets as long as they comply with the following regulations:

1.– The entry of medium or small size dogs and cats is allowed.

2.– Each pet must wear a collar or harness and leash throughout their stay in our facilities, which must not exceed an approximate meter in length, always in the charge of an adult. Leaving pets tied to objects or in the hands of children is prohibited.

3.– Dogs of breeds classified as potentially dangerous may enter as long as they comply with the provisions of the responsible pet ownership law (muzzle, non-extensible leash and maximum length of 1 meter, civil liability insurance and training and obedience course).

4.– A maximum of one pet per responsible adult is allowed.

5.– Each pet will be counted as one more passenger within our cabins that are for a maximum of 6 passengers regardless of their size, age or weight.

6.– The pet owner must always carry toiletries and is responsible for collecting and cleaning solid and liquid waste that their pet could leave in our facilities.

7.– It is the duty of the owners to ensure the behavior and physical conditions of their pets. Pet owners release Teleférico Santiago from any responsibility for any event where they are or may be harmed, both they and their companions, pets, visitors to the Cable Car, and any person, due to acts carried out by their pets.

8.– Santiago Cable Car reserves the right to admit any pet if it deems it necessary to protect the integrity and comfort of our visitors or for any other justified reason.

9.– When entering the Santiago Cable Car premises and obtaining your ticket, it is assumed that the owner of the pet is informed and will comply with the provisions of these regulations.

Yes. You can take it with you as long as it is all hermetically closed and stored in a handbag. You cannot eat or drink inside the cabins.
No. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabins as well as inside our enclosures.
Our system is automated. Don't be scared if you see that our host doesn't close the doors before starting your trip, they close themselves.
Our cabins slow down so that visitors can get on, but at no time do they come to a complete stop. We must be alert when it is our turn to go up and do it carefully with the support of the cable car host.
Yes, but combining the Cumbre station with the Ecological Bus service to go down to Pio Nono and from there go up for 7 minutes. Both transport services are available separately, to buy online on this website. You must buy the Zoo ticket separately by clicking HERE.
No, during the pandemic, the transport of bicycles by Cable Car is not allowed. You can only go up by pedaling to the Tupahue station, from Monday to Friday.
You can take as many photos as you want as long as you don't stick your hand out of the cabin windows or stand up. For your safety, it is advisable to keep all photographic equipment and your hands inside the cabin to avoid any accident. Always remember to wear a mask at all times.
