No, it is open from Tuesday to Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. to 18:45 p.m. It is closed on Mondays for operational maintenance, unless it is a holiday. There may be variations in schedules depending on the season, so we recommend that you check our website and social networks. During winter holidays (between July 1 and 23) the Cable Car is open from Monday to Sunday, from 9:30 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.
It is accessed through the main entrance of Providencia to the Metropolitan Park, Cerro San Cristóbal. That is, along Avenida Pedro de Valdivia with the intersection of Avenida El Cerro. Upon entering, a few steps on the right, is the initial station, called Oasis.
Yes, especially in the period of health situation that is being faced, the purchase of tickets must be made online by reserving your spot, and thus avoid contact with cash, to avoid congestion of our visitors.
The maximum wait is 10 minutes. Because there is a quota that is lost, there is no refund of the money. Exceptionally, with medical justification duly attached via email, it may be rescheduled for another day.
Yes, you can access a preferential value by presenting your credential issued by SENADIS at the ticket office.
Due to the health situation faced, the measures adopted are:

-Be attentive to the automatic closing of doors. We ask that you be attentive when boarding the cabin, where the indicated measures will be reinforced.
The journey lasts approximately 15 minutes, round trip, between Oasis station and Cumbre.
At each Cable Car station, you will find the renowned Delicato cafeteria, with artisanal ice cream made in-house and which has been distinguished as one of the best in the country. In addition, there are sandwiches, coffees, muffins, juices, drinks and others.
There are 47 colored booths: Red, blue and green that are operational for the transfer of all visitors.
Each cabin is shared and has capacity for 6 users (adults, children, minors, seniors, cars and/or pets).

Yes, any visitor who attends with their baby by car must lock it at the time of boarding. It should be noted that the child and the car occupy a position inside the cabin, therefore, 4 remaining positions will be available.

No. Small bicycles cannot be carried in the cabin. Only the one for first steps is allowed, the wooden one that does not have wheels.
Yes, you must go to our Oasis Station where we have an elevator available to take you up to the boarding area. In these cases, the person in a wheelchair may be accompanied in the cabin by 2 more visitors. Our staff will be in charge of boarding the corresponding visitor who needs it, always remember to follow the instructions.
Yes, everything will depend on the type of ticket you buy. At the terminal stations (Oasis and Cumbre) disembarkation is mandatory.
No, the service we provide is completely secure. If the electrical service is cut off, we have an autonomous electrical power plant that allows us to make a safe disembarkation. In addition, each cabin has a loudspeaker call system for emergencies that communicates the visitor with the control tower in cases of unrest during the tour.
Cable car visitors may bring their pets into the stations and inside the cabins as long as they comply with the following regulations:

1.– Medium or small dogs and cats are allowed.

2.– Each pet must wear a collar or harness and leash throughout its stay in our facilities, which must not exceed approximately one meter in length, always in the care of an adult. It is prohibited to leave pets tied to objects or in the hands of children.

3.– Dogs of breeds classified as potentially dangerous may enter as long as they comply with the provisions of the law on responsible pet ownership (muzzle, non-extendable leash and maximum length of 1 meter, civil liability insurance and training and obedience course).

4.– A maximum of one pet is allowed per responsible adult.

5.– Each pet will be counted as one more passenger in our cabins, which are for a maximum of 6 passengers regardless of their size, age or weight.

6.– The pet owner must always carry toiletries and is responsible for collecting and cleaning solid and liquid waste that their pet may leave in our facilities.

7.– It is the owners' duty to ensure the behavior and physical conditions of their pets. Pet owners release Teleférico Santiago from any responsibility for any event where they, their companions, pets, visitors to the Teleférico, and any person, are or may be harmed by acts carried out by their pets.

8.– Teleférico Santiago reserves the right to admit any pet if it is considered necessary to protect the integrity and comfort of our visitors or for any other justified reason.

9.– At the time of entering the Santiago Teleférico facilities and obtaining your ticket, it is assumed that the owner of the pet is aware and will comply with the provisions of this regulation.

Yes. You can take it as long as it is all tightly closed and stored in a handbag. You cannot eat or drink inside the cabins.
No. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabins as well as inside our facilities.
Our system is automated. Don't be scared if you see that our host doesn't close the doors before starting his trip, they close themselves.
Our cabins slow down so that visitors can board, but at no time do they stop completely. We must be alert when it is our turn to go up and do it carefully with the support of the cable car host.
Yes, but combining at the Cumbre station with the Ecological Bus service to go down to Pio Nono and from there go up for 7 minutes. Both transport services are available separately, to purchase online on this website. You must purchase the Zoo ticket separately by clicking HERE.
No, during the pandemic, the transport of bicycles on the Cable Car is not allowed. You can only pedal up to Tupahue station, from Monday to Friday.
You can take as many photos as you want as long as you don't reach out of the cabin windows or stand up. For your safety, it is advisable to keep all photographic equipment and your hands inside the cabin to avoid any accidents. Always remember to wear a mask at all times.
