Located in the Bellavista neighborhood, a very touristy neighborhood, is Pío Nono Station. Santiago Funicular, this heritage elevator that takes you to the top of San Cristóbal Hill in Parquemet.
This station is recognized for its outstanding architecture, since upon arrival you will find a neo-medieval style castle flanked by two towers. Castillo Pío was designed by architect Luciano Kulczewski and has maintained its original form since the inauguration of the Santiago Funicular in 1925.
From Pío Nono Station you can take an entertaining historical tour of approximately 500 meters on an inclined plane that fluctuates between 45 and 48 degrees, the trip lasts approximately 8 to 15 minutes.
What can you do from Pío Nono Funicular Station?

How to get to Pío Nono Station?
The entrance is located at 450 Pío Nono Street, Providencia. It is a 10-minute walk from the Baquedano metro station (line 1). In addition, it is stop number 4 of the Tourist bus Hop On – Hop Off.
