The Cumbre Station of the Santiago Cable Car is the final stop, located at the top of San Cristóbal Hill, in Parquemet, which is at a height of 880 meters above sea level.
Around the Cumbre Cable Car Station there are many panoramas and places to visit, one of the best known being the Immaculate Conception Shrine, located about 250 meters from the Cumbre Station exit, walking towards the west. This is one of the main places of worship of the Catholic Church in Chile, especially relevant as an icon of the city and famous for the image of the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, which can be seen from different points of the city.
Furthermore, in the surroundings of this station you will find one of the best viewpoints of the park to appreciate the city, the Bellavista Terrace Viewpoint. This terrace has a great panoramic view, different stores that sell souvenirs from Santiago and Chile and sell the iconic peach and barley drink, a traditional drink from the country, which is refreshing, made with caramelized peach juice, with wheat flavour, and dehydrated peaches.
At the exit of Cumbre Cable Car Station, you will come across one of the best artisanal ice cream from Chile, at Cafeteria Delicatto, with home-made ice cream and a wide variety of flavors.
Connection points
The Cumbre Cable Car Station is the connection point with the Panoramic Buses whose stop is in Plaza México, these buses take you along the hill to the Tupahue Station. You can also connect with Santiago Funicular, whose stop is at the Cumbre, this heritage elevator allows you to descend to the National Zoo or Pío Nono Station through an incredible panoramic journey, it is also considered a Historical Monument.
