Antilen Swimming Pool

An ideal panorama to cool off during the summer.

This pool, located in the Parquemet, is located at the summit of Chacarillas hill, 800 meters above sea level. like the Tupahue pool, It is open to the public by paying an entrance fee that is purchased directly at the web page from Parquemet.

Antilén means “what sun there is” in Mapudungún, the pool was built in 1971, initially it was used by Metropolitan Park workers, but in 1976 it opened its doors to the general public. It has a capacity for 1.500 people in its 92 meters wide and in it you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city.

What to see at the Antilén pool?

Cooling off during the summer and enjoying the view is a great panorama within Parquemet.  In the same Antilén sector there is a plaza, children's games and if you want to walk, you can visit the Mirador Los Gemelos and the Pablo Neruda Amphitheater.

How to get to the Antilén pool?

The easiest and safest way is in the panoramic buses which you can take at Pío Nono Station or Tupahue Station. It is an entertaining trip in ecological buses that are open on the sides to observe the landscape.

*This 2022/2023 summer season the Antilén pool is closed for repairs.
