Plaza Mexico

The main square of the Cumbre del Cerro San Cristóbal

A large water fountain steps from the top of the classic San Cristóbal is what characterizes Plaza México. Which has seats to rest and some places as you go up until you reach the Bellavista Terrace. Like other attractions in Parquemet, and Anahuac Culture House and Mural Tupahue, the name of this plaza is related to the union between the people of Chile and Mexico.

It is the last stop of the Panoramic Buses and here you will find the meeting point to get on or off.

What to see in Plaza México?

This is a great resting point before climbing the last meters that take you to the summit of San Cristóbal. Here you will find the Bellavista terrace with a spectacular panoramic view of the city, places with food and crafts, the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception and many more attractions.

From Plaza México you can also walk towards the Manuel Foster Observatory, a different panorama to see this historic place and learn about the cosmos.

How to get to Plaza México?

You can get there in many ways, the panoramic bus leaves you right there, but Funicular and Cable Car are just steps away from Cumbre Station.
